In seventh grade, Daley Quinn won fifty dollars in the San Antonio Poetry Fair for her rhyming poem on the frightening perils of being home alone. It was then, with an inspired heart and a full wallet, that she decided to become a writer. While her current paycheck doesn’t feel as steep as her first, Daley couldn’t imagine pursuing any other career.
Daley currently lives in New York City and is the Assistant Beauty & Fashion Editor at Family Circle magazine. Her makeup collection takes up three-fourths of her bedroom, while her clothing takes up the rest. She’s somehow crammed a bed in there, too.
Daley’s writing has appeared in Family Circle, Women’s Wear Daily, New York’s TheCut.com, San Antonio, Seventeen, TheFrisky.com, TheFinancialDiet.com, Lovelyish.com, TheRamRealm.com, and FordhamRam.com.
